Steamburg - Lavronosny quest puzzle game with a unique gameplay and storyline, tied to a hidden object search. The developer of the game is Telehorse, a company working on creating games in the steampunk genre. In March 2017, Steamburg was recognized as the most anticipated game at the International Mobile Game Competition (IMGA) in San Francisco.
The protagonist, Professor Vincent Moore, fights with the robots that captured the city of Steamburg. The gameplay can be called unique, because Vincent is unarmed and must carefully think through his every move. In his arsenal - only small electric bombs that lure and slow down robots for a short time. Vincent has to move around the streets in such a way as to lure robots into a trap - Tesla's transformer, which is able to destroy them. Gradually, the game gets more complicated: Vincent is confronted by several robots at once, while they are becoming faster and faster, and some of them are able to fly and react to every movement of the hero.
Special attention should be paid to the way the plot is presented. At the 2016 White Nights International Business Conference in Helsinki, Steamburg won an award for Best Narrative Techniques. From the dialogs, the player learns that Vincent is a scientist who was assigned to test a new weapon in Steamburg. He is also busy looking for his bride, who was supposedly in the city when the robots attacked him. Some elements of the plot are directly related to the gameplay. The player can also collect letters and photographs that tell about the love story of Vincent and his bride.
